I like how you noticed the children learning through play and exploring on their own. I also had a experience in the toddler room during free play. The children were at the art centre using coloured paper and scissors. One child said, “Purple,” and the others started picking colours and naming them too. Some were not correct, but they were trying and learning from each other. The highlight for me was seeing how they copied and learned from one another. I documented it with observations and pictures to help share their learning story.
