A recent play observation I enjoyed was watching the children play in the kitchen area. They were pretending to cook food and serve it to each other. They were sharing, taking turns, and talking with their friends.

I kept a short note about what I noticed during their play and later used it to think about what the children were learning. It helped me understand their interests and plan more activities they would enjoy.
