Deborah Fehr

I have been in the early learning field for most of my adult life. I graduated from MacEwan in 1988 and continued my education in child and youth care at the University of Victoria stopping short of completing a degree. I started babysitting at age 11...continued as an unregistered family day home when I had my own two children. I helped found Parent's Place in St. Albert,.. create further learning programs through Parent's Place,... worked in a preschool,.. a parents day out program in Norwood as an educator and a manager... was a director... instructor for the Orientation class at MacEwan... an instructor at CDI Collage... a facilitator in 100 Voices... a coach... and mentor for programs... started a nonprofit childcare centre in Pigeon Lake. I have worked as a bookkeeper, a baker and an office manager. I've driven school busses, owned two restaurants, raised chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, alpacas and pigs. I've traveled across Canada, across the northern and western states, to Mexico, Denmark, Germany, France and Switzerland. I have training in circle process, mediation and negotiation, I have two grown children and four grand-children. Want to know more? All you need to do is ask.
