My name is Cristina Curbi, a certified Early Childhood Education teacher. I am a mother to 2 amazing, healthy children and a small business owner. I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Utilizing that education, I have experienced running and managing several restaurants in the city. I have a strong passion in cooking and preparing healthy and delicious food for people. That’s why I also have my small kitchenette business that represents well my education, experience and what I love to do. Aside from that, I also have a diploma on Educational Assistance and Community Social Work during the pandemic time which lead me to Childcare World. I have a Toddler Montessori Certification that supports what I currently do now as an early Childhood Teacher. Having 2 kids, a 18 year old and a very active girl, it equipped me in the work I do now. I would describe myself as a positive individual with full of energy. I have a can do attitude, a natural problem solver, hardworking and industrious type of instructor. I have about 3 years experience in Childcare professionally but have been handling children for 18 years through my kids and the kids of my family and friends. I am a natural talent at handling children which contributes to my success in this field. I am a flexible style of teacher and can very well adjust, adapt and can cater to all students and abilities. I have managed and handled kids of all stages - from infant when I started child care, up to the Montessori Pre School and Infant Montessori. I wanted to continue growing and learning in this industry. I love taking care of kids. I enjoy it most when we are singing and dancing during our circle time. I treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to make a difference in a child’s life, their growth and be there help them achieve their developmental milestones. It is an achievement for me to see them feel loved, assisted and taken cared of at the given time their parents entrusted them to us.
